Oakland Hills Transformation
This backyard in Oakland had an eroding, overgrown slope with broken concrete and old timber borders going nowhere. We cleared it completely, then engineered a sweeping curved terraced retaining wall system that turned the unusable hillside into a clean, structured outdoor space.
The finished project features a gravel bed planted with drought-tolerant succulents and low-water perennials — beautiful, practically maintenance-free, and built to hold the slope for decades.
